Canada Organic Regime (COR)

This standard provides access to the following markets:

Canada and USA.

Information about the standard:

COR comprises three sections:

  • CAN/CGSB 32.310 — Organic Production Systems — General Principles and Management Standards
  • CAN/CGSB 32.311 — Organic Production Systems — Permitted Substances List
  • CAN/CGSB 32.312 — Organic Production Systems — Aquaculture.

IMPORTANT! On June 17, 2009, the US Canada Organic Equivalency Arrangement (USCOEA) was signed between the governments of Canada and the United States. This means that certification according to the COR, considering the requirements of the USCOEA, opens up organic markets in both countries for Ukrainian producers!

Organic Standard is accredited by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to conduct inspection and certification activities according to COR.
